New Hairdresser in Carson City brings over a decade of experience and a passion for helping others

I’m so excited to introduce myself to the Carson City community! My name is Kiera Harrison, and I’m a licensed cosmetologist with over 11 years of professional experience.

I recently joined the talented team at Salon Affinity, and I’m now accepting new clients. I specialize in vibrant and natural color, Brazilian Blowouts, a variety of extension methods, and facial waxing all tailored to help each client feel confident, refreshed, and loving their look.

A few years ago, I switched careers for a while to work as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist. It was an incredibly rewarding role that allowed me to help people through some of life’s toughest challenges.

While I loved supporting others in that way, I found myself deeply missing my first career and true passion being a cosmetologist. Now, I’m so happy to be back behind the chair, blending my creativity with the empathy and understanding I gained from my time in peer support.

This November, I will also be graduating with my Associate of Science in Business Administration a milestone that reflects my dedication to both personal and professional growth. I believe in continually learning and evolving, not only for myself but for the people I serve.
