Nevada State Forester and Fire Warden featured Tuesday at Carson City Rotary meeting

By Denise Clodjeaux — Nevada State Forester and Fire Warden Kacey KC will be the guest speaker at the next Rotary Club of Carson City meeting. KC will share information the agency is preparing for this year’s fire season.
The public is invited to attend the meeting which takes place at noon, Tuesday, June 17 in the Brewery Arts Center’s Grand Ballroom, 449 West King Street in Carson City.
KC will talk about the fire outlook for this year, preparedness measures, successes from last season and new legislation and funding of for risk reduction. She will also discuss new funding opportunities for homeowners and communities for wildfire risk reduction in Nevada.
