Meet Posey, Our Pet of the Week!
At 2 years old, this sweet Bull Terrier brings generous doses of love and sunshine wherever she goes. Posey joined us earlier this month as a stray, and while everything felt new and a little nerve-wracking at first, she’s blossomed with a gentle heart and a truly playful spirit.
What makes her happiest? Belly rubs, sniffy adventures, leisurely walks, and soaking up all the attention you’re willing to share! Each day, Posey has bravely embraced new experiences, showing us just how ready she is to make wonderful memories with her future family. She’s patiently waiting for someone to share her next chapter—and if you have space in your home and heart, Posey would love to meet you.

Tricks & Treats at Nevada Humane Society!
Get ready for a spooktacular Halloween celebration at our Carson City campus! This family-friendly event invites pet lovers of all ages to trick-or-treat through festive candy stations, meet adorable adoptable pets, and support local animals by bringing a dry cat food donation for our Pet Pantry. Celebrate Halloween with the community’s cutest pets, make lasting memories, and support animals in need. We can’t wait to see you there!
When: Thursday, October 30 | 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
