Nadalyn Avery “Nady” Thompson, 7, of Reynoldsville, passed away Friday July 18, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois. The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude and prayers to the entire hospital staff during this tragic time.
Born July 17, 2018, Nady is survived by her parents Dylan and Denise (Doutt) Thompson, her siblings Savana and Kendra Thompson and Breena Bell, her grandmothers Jacqueline Frantz and Stephanie Thompson, and her Papa Daniel Thompson. The family finds comfort in knowing that her brother Bailee Bell and her Papa Ken Reiter were there to meet her at the gates of Heaven, along with many other loved ones.
Nady attended Kindergarten at CG Johnson and had the BEST teacher ever, Cheyenne (Fink) Martino. She made friends everywhere she went, but she especially loved her cousins, her best pals Lili, Roman, Kenslee, Gabby, Ben, Miaa, Thadius, and Gage. She was looking forward to the upcoming birth of a new baby cousin, Brody. She was a soccer star on the Reynoldsville Bulldogs team and adored her coach Kait. She was a fanatic of her many beloved pets but especially her favorite, her dog Lilly.
She loved Jesus like she loved family bike rides, swimming, and animals of all types. She spread kindness everywhere she went and wanted to help everyone with everything. She lit up a room with her giggles, pranks and bubbly personality, but was also fearless and wouldn’t hesitate to pick up grama Jackie’s crazy chickens. Feather was her favorite one.
She was so proud of her sweet peppers growing in the garden, going down the purple slide at the pool by herself, and climbing up hunting stands, even farther than her big sisters would dare to go.
Adventures to Parker Dam, Bilger’s Rocks and her Papa Ken’s woods were her favorite places to find deer antlers, salamanders and mushrooms, to pick wild berries and flowers, and go camping.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10-11AM, at the Reynoldsville First Methodist Church, where she loved to go to Sunday School. After visitation, a funeral service will follow from 11-12PM, with Rev. Becky Edwards officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel in DuBois.
Memorial donations may be made in Nady’s name to the church, 504 Jackson St., Reynoldsville PA 15851. Online condolences may be made at www.adamsonfuneral.com.
