September 15, 1967 – October 22, 2025

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Michael John MacKenzie at his home in Wasaga Beach on October 22, 2025. Mikey, as family and close friends referred to him, son of the late Carole MacKenzie and the late John MacKenzie, little brother to the late James MacKenzie and Brian MacKenzie. Mikey will also be missed by his uncles, aunts, niece, nephews and many cousins and friends.

Mike was a talented artist, designer and well-respected tool repair and hydraulics guy throughout his life, he also studied in his early days in the hospitality field and served as a bartender for many years at the Mill in downtown Toronto. He enjoyed many summers in Wasaga Beach where you could find him sunning and relaxing on Beach 4. He was the family lead sports enthusiast, this included being a faithful fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Bears and his cherished Montreal Canadiens.

A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date. If desired, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
