Mark Smith – Watson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Mark Watson-Smith. 

Mark was affectionately known as “South” reflective of the South Philadelphia neighborhood where he spent part of his childhood. He lived his life with no regrets, always traveling to new places and looking for new experiences. Mark was a people person and in turn he had many friends from all walks of life. He enjoyed listening to the stories of others which fed his passion for making music. Whether he was in the house, or riding in his car, he always had to play a song. 

He will be remembered most for being a protector by his family. No matter what he had going on in his own life, he would

always check in regularly on anyone he cared about to make sure they were taken care of. He loved his family dearly, especially his children, nieces and nephews. We will always be grateful to have known him, to have learned from him and to have loved him back.
