Mark Anthony Brunette, born on June 17, 1954, in International Falls, MN. He passed away peacefully at St. Lukes hospital in Duluth, MN on October 13, 2025, at the age of 71 from natural causes.
Known for his warm personality and sharp sense of humor, Mark spent his working years as an electronic repairman in the vending industry before retiring to focus on the things he loved most: family and leisure activities.
Mark was a man of many interests. His home was filled with trophies and memories from his days competing in dart and pool leagues, showcasing his talent and competitive spirit. Outside the game hall, he found joy in the great outdoors, enjoying both hunting and fishing whenever he could. But what truly defined Mark was his love for his family. He never missed a family gathering and cherished the time spent with his siblings Lucy, Esther, Donna, Ruth, Mary, Lewis, Virginia, Steven, Eleanor, John, Valerie and Bruce, creating countless memories over the years. Mark’s kindness and genuine spirit touched everyone he met, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. As they gather to celebrate his life, they’ll remember him not just for his skills with darts and pool, but for his unwavering support and love that brought everyone together.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Dessa Brunette, and sister, Lucy Buley.
A celebration of life will be held on November 1, 2025, from 2-5:00 pm at the Ranier Community Hall.
