Mark Benoit

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Mark Ellise Benoit, 65, who passed away May 5, 2025, at his home in Crowley.

Deacon Bryan Istre will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to the time of service at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley.

Mark was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. One of his fondest traits was being kind-hearted, Mark was good to everyone he came in contact with.

He is survived by seven siblings, Dennis Benoit and his wife Judy of Hayes, Michael Benoit of Hayes, David Benoit of Hayes, Donna Rabalais and her husband Keith of Crowley, Joe Benoit of Hayes, Randell Benoit of Hayes, and Roseta Badaczewski and her husband Steve of Georgia; fourteen nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Octavia Abshire Benoit; one brother, Clifford Benoit; two half-brothers, Rogers and Harry Benoit and one nephew, Billy Rabalais.

Pallbearers will be Dennis, Michael, David, Joe, Jeremy, and Joshua Benoit.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.
