Marilyn Gozik
Masury – Marilyn F. Gozik, 89, passed away Monday morning, September 22, 2025 at UPMC Health Center in Farrell.
Marilyn was born on September 7, 1936 in Masury, OH, a daughter of the late Stanley and Sophia Gozik.
She was a 1954 graduate of Brookfield High School and worked at G.C. Murpy Store in Youngstown as a salesclerk before working at United Natural Gas for 36 years, retiring as a supervisor.
She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Sharon, where she was an usher and Altar Guild. She was also the assistant director and then director of Episcopal Community Services Food Pantry at St. John’s Episcopal Church for 15 years. She volunteered her time at the Buhl Club and UPMC Hospitality Shop in Farrell, PA.
She loved working with her flower gardens and had a love for horses.
Marilyn will be deeply missed by her nephews and nieces, David Tralick, Tim (Carla) Tralick, Tawnya McDonald, Jennifer Tralick, Carlie Childs, Quin, Zane, Kayla, Samuel, and Maverick Tralick, and McKenna Klein.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Dolores Tralick.
Family and friends may visit from 10-11AM on Friday October 3, 2025 at Lane Funeral Homes – Madasz Chapel, located at 6923 Warren Sharon Road in Brookfield, where funeral services will follow at 11:00AM.
Burial will take place at Brookfield Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church Food Pantry in Sharon.
