Margaret Hicks

It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Greta Hicks (nee Unger) announce her passing on May 14, 2025, at Bluewater Health – Sarnia, at the age of 89.

Wife of Douglas Kenneth Hicks for 70 years. Mother of George Hicks (Laurie), Karen Hicks, Ken Hicks (Linda) and Lois Hicks. Grandmother of Brienne Hicks and Amanda Lyall (Rob). Great-grandmother of Jayla Shaw, John Lyall and Charlotte Lyall. Predeceased by her daughter Lorraine Hicks and grandson Ryan Hicks.

Margaret came from a Mennonite background and was very involved in her church. She enjoyed sewing, baking and loved tinkering with things around the home. Margaret will be remembered as a wonderful caregiver to her family.
