Manuel Melgar

Manuel Antonio Melgar, departed this life on May 8th, 2025. He was born on October 20th, 1931 in San Salvador, El Salvador. Manuel Melgar will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on the hearts of those whose he touched.

He is survived by his wife: Maury; daughter Silvia and husband Russ; daughter Blanca and husband Jorge; son Manuel and wife Rosa; daughter Marta and husband Dan; daughter Connie and husband Oscar; daughter Janet and husband Willie, and daughter Ingrid and husband Pat.

Proud grandfather: Manuel (Erica) and Maria; Jose (Karla) and Sussan (Chuck); Sheryl and Stephanie; Aaron and William; Oscar Jr (Theresa); Alisyn and Jackson, and great grandchildren and numerous family members and friends.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation on 5/13/25 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Lima & Campagna Sunnyvale Mortuary, 1315 Hollenbeck Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA. Funeral Mass 5/14/25 at 10:30 am – Church of the Resurrection, corner of Cascade Avenue and Hollenbeck Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

Reception at American Legion, Santa Clara 5/14/25 from 2-6 pm.
