Lisa Renee Catlett
1975 – 2025
Clarksdale, Missouri……Lisa Renee Catlett, age 49, passed away May 19, 2025. Born in St. Joseph, Missouri, on September 6, 1975, Lisa was the beloved daughter of Gary and Marilyn (Wills) Singleton. Her life was a reflection of her faith and a testament to strength, love, and laughter. She was a light to all who knew her.
Lisa was a 1994 graduate of Lafayette High School and pursued her career in dental hygiene from MWSU and UMKC. For 30 years, she worked at Dr. Prawl’s office in St. Joseph, where she became a friend and a familiar face to so many.
On September 4, 1999, Lisa married her best friend and soul mate, Chad Catlett. Together they built a beautiful life near Oak, raising their two children, Hayden and Claire. She was always their biggest fan – never missing an event and cherishing every moment with them. They were truly her pride and joy.
She found joy in stretching a dollar and hunting for a bargain at garage sales. She was a devoted member of the Oak Christian Church, where she sang in the choir.
Lisa is lovingly remembered by her husband, Chad, of the home; children, Hayden and Claire (Alexavier); parents, Gary and Marilyn of St. Joseph; in-laws, Randy and Sheri Catlett; brother and sister-in-law, Wade and Carrie Harms; nephews and nieces, Jace, Carter, and Avery Harms; many cherished family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Oak Christian Church, with burial immediately following at Oak Cemetery. No visitation scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions may be made to Oak Christian Church.
