Linda Anne Risden

On October 19, 2025, Linda Anne Risden peacefully passed at the age of 80. She is survived by her son Tim his wife Dawn, grandchildren Drew and Tyler. Lifetime friends Florence (60+years), and Cindy (50+ years) and her four-legged son, Riley.

Linda worked most of her life before retiring from the Department of Agriculture in 2021. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, Yia Yia, aunt and dear friend. She was predeceased by her dear Mother Helen, Brother Duke and many cherished pets. Linda enjoyed country music namely Eric Church and The Brothers Osbourne, attending a concert when she could. She enjoyed action movies and reading. She loved being at the ocean on the beach. She was a true animal lover, anytime when visiting her, you knew there would be at least one dog or cat or perhaps several. She cared for her animals as if they were her children and made sure to spoil them every chance she got. She was always happy to tell funny stories and the antics of her animals. Linda was a long-time fan of the Washington Redskins and could be found every Sunday watching the game. She loved spending time with her friends who were her chosen family.
