Linda L. Hull, 75, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2025.

She was born on July 13, 1950, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to the late Walter and Loretta (Peyton) Ludwig.

Linda was a dedicated reporter for The Times Leader, where she worked with diligence, integrity, and a deep love for storytelling. Her writing touched many lives and reflected her unwavering commitment to her community.

Linda was a lifelong Christian, having embraced her faith from childhood. She took great comfort in reading her Bible and attending services at Relevant Worship Center, where she found spiritual strength and community.

She found joy in collecting dolls-a hobby that brought her great happiness. Linda was also an avid reader and gardener, often finding peace in the pages of a good book or among the blooms she lovingly tended. She cherished time spent with her family and friends, creating lasting memories. Above all, she loved reading her Bible, which brought her comfort and inspiration throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Hull, in 2021.

She is remembered by her children: Staci (Sean) Armstrong, Matt (Wendy) Frankovich, and Seth (Lisa) Hull; grandchildren: AJ, Caden, Ava, and Christian; siblings: Don (Denise) Ludwig and Kami (Jeff) Wines; aunts: Betty Peyton and Mary Virginia Myers. Linda also leaves behind her fiancé, Rich Taylor; her toy poodle, Willow; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Linda’s warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, but she was also known for her sharp wit, infectious laughter, and a fiery spirit that made her unforgettable. Her unwavering faith in Christ guided her life and gave her strength through every season. She brought joy, honesty, and heart to every room she entered—and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith.
