Lee LeJeune
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, 11AM, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Estherwood, LA, for Lee “Pie” LeJeune, 86, who died Thursday, April 24th, 2025, at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, LA.
Rev. Andrew Shumacher will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Monday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 8:00 AM till 10:30 AM. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Monday. Interment will be in Estherwood Cemetery.
Mr. Lee “Pie” LeJeune is survived by his daughter, Julie LeJeune, 3 grandchildren, Tyler Borill, his wife Mickie, Blake Borill, his wife Kristy, Clay Borill, and his wife Hannah, 9 Great-grandchildren, Audrey, Wyatt, Sophia, Madilyn, Carter, Kolyn, Stevie, Blakelynn, and Ophelia, his sister Faye Edwards, and one aunt Lillian Kratzer.
Mr. LeJeune is proceeded in death by his wife of 63 years, Shirleen “Bane” Blanchard LeJeune, his parents Adam LeJeune and Armance Broussard, stepfather Carroll Broussard, his in-laws Martin Blanchard and Eula Mae Blanchard, 3 siblings, Bessie LeJeune Miller, Bennett LeJeune, and Alma “Jean” Boone, his sister-in-law Patsy Simon, and his brother-in-law Roy Simon.
Pie was born and raised in Jennings, LA. He met his loving wife in Riceville in 1957 and later married in 1960. He then joined the United States Army where he served from 62′ to 66′. Pie and Bane made there home in Estherwood where they raised their family. He was a plant manager for G&H for over 30 years.
He loved Cajun music and dancing. He really enjoyed camping, especially at his camp at Holly Beach. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his world and he loved spending his time with them. He was a loving family man and a hard worker that will be remembered fondly by those that knew him.
Pallbearers will Tyler, Blake, Clay, Wyatt, Carter, and Audrey. Honorary Pallbearer will be Kolyn.
