Lawrence Rzewski

Lawrence Rodger Rzewski was born in Chicago, IL on May 12, 1942.  He passed away quietly on Wednesday October 15, 2025.

Dearly Beloved husband of Beverly (59 yrs).  Loving Godfather of Lisa (John) Bilik, Frank (Wendy) Scortino, Ann (Tom) Duebner, and Rick (Sarah) Tymm.  Loving cousin of Phyllis Reinert, Rita Moore, and Bill (Marlene) Tymm.

Larry graduated from Weber High School.  He continued his education with an Engineering Degree from University of Illinois, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Roosevelt University. He continued on to work in the political area for several Aldermen, and then for the City of Chicago at O’Hare International Airport Planning Department.  After retirement, he remained active in several community organizations.

Larry was a caring and loving man.  He will be gravely missed.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Funeral Service to be held that evening at 5 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago, IL.  Interment Private.  For Funeral Information call 773-736-3833.
