Laurie Baillargeon

Putnam – Laurie Jean Baillargeon, 61, of Putnam, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in her home. Born in Webster, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Alice (Bruce) Lyon.

Lauire spent several years working for Gen Tech, as a regional manager.

A gifted jewelry maker, Laurie had a unique talent for turning the simplest materials into stunning, meaningful pieces. Her creations were more than just adornments – they were reflections of her vibrant soul and the deep connections she nurtured with friends and family. Along with a day at the beach, dancing was her other passion – and anyone who saw her move, knew it was an expression of pure happiness.

Laurie is survived by her children, Joseph Baillargeon and his companion Ashley Goulet and Daniel Baillargeon; Sisters Wendy Lyon, Melinda Lyon and her companion Richard Surrette, Paula Mayo and her Husband Lincoln Mayo. She also leaves behind Grandchildren Jacoby and Skye, along with many nieces, nephews, several loving cousins and her beloved dog Poppi.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday June 6th, 2025 at 1pm in South Cemetery, 214 Pomfret Street, Pomfret Center, CT 06259. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. For memorial guestbook visit www.GilmanAndValade.com.
