Laura May “Lollie” Adamyk

Laura May “Lollie” Adamyk beloved wife and mother, 84, of Indian Land SC passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 16, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion Kantorcik. Lollie was born on January 25, 1941 in Albany, NY and was a graduate of Colonie Central High School.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Bernard Adamyk; Three children, Dean (wife Lisa) of Colonie NY; Cynthia Stach of Waxhaw NC and Debra Bresette of Indian Land SC. She was the loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren: the late Amy Jerome, Samantha Stach, Eric Stach, Gordon Bresette, and 2 great grandchildren; Olivia Oliver and Phineas Oliver. She was also survived by her brother Thomas (wife Barbara) Kantorcik

Lollie previously worked as a secretary for Matthew – Bender, Albany County Clerk Attorney, CYC Realty, and Dunkin’ Donuts. To further support her three children, she sold Tupperware and Avon products door-to-door. Lollie loved to travel, mainly cruising, and has visited many countries around the world. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking for her family.

A memorial service will be held and announced at a future date in the Albany area.
