Kenneth R. Biddle of Marmora, New Jersey, formally of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on September 25th, 2025. He was 82. Kenneth was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Elmer J. and Evelyn (nee Zellner) Biddle on July 19, 1943. Kenneth, the beloved husband to Carole Sue (nee Marks ) Biddle, the devoted father to Michael K Biddle (Lisa), Carole Sue (Tony) Ricco. The loving grandfather to Michael (Kathleen) Biddle, Christopher (Lisa) Ricco, Justin (Brooke) Biddle and Ashley (Joseph) Grayo. Great grandfather to Michael, Avery, Weslee, Greta, Miles, Tess, Cash, Charlie and Vivienne.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Clements and his brother Michael Biddle.
He is survived by (his Brother in Law), Forrest (Dorothy) Marks and (his Sister in law) Marilyn (Norman) Carley and Patricia Biddle. Also his nieces and nephews Kathleen, Karen, Kristen, Jennifer, Sean, Michael, Breanne and Brandon.
Ken was born in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and his family moved to Juniata where he attended Holy Innocents grade school. He was a proud Falcon where he graduated from Northeast Catholic High School for Boys ‘61.
He became a Philadelphia police officer in 1964 and retired as a detective with the police force where he proudly served the city of Philadelphia for 24 years.
Then, shortly after retirement from the police department, he started his journey with the Livingrin Foundation where he retired after 24 years there as a manager.
Ken spent many wonderful years at his beloved cabin in Haycock County, PA. He would always share stories and memories of his Kelly Farm days, with his family and friends and his dog Tory through the years.
For 22 years, Ken and Sue enjoyed the Jersey shore at their home in Ocean City, NJ. Ken even flew over the ocean in the red Baron WWII bi-plane with a smile on his face as his family watched.
Ken was an avid golfer where he enjoyed playing with his brother Mike and family and friends.
He also loved watching the Flyers during their Stanley Cup years and attended games. He was a devoted Eagles and Phillies fan and loved going to spring training.
Ken love nothing more than to be surrounded by his family.
Ken and Sue have spent the last few years living in their home in Marmora, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to Kenneth’s Viewing on Monday October 6th, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Holy Innocent Church 1337 E Hunting Park Ave, Philadelphia PA 19124.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to support pediatric cancer services at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. Gifts may be made by visiting https://www.chfrichmond.org/donate. If giving by check, gifts should be made payable to Children’s Hospital Foundation and mailed to Box 980693, Richmond, VA 23298.
