Kathryn Lynn Miggins, 78, of International Falls, Minnesota passed away with family by her side on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Rainy Lake Medical Center.
Kathy was born July 27, 1947, in Littlefork, Minnesota to Carl and Gloria (McBride) Reuter.
Her whole life revolved around love for her family and making a comfortable home. She was an accomplished baker, crafter, seamstress, and quilter. Her time with friends and other quilters at Whispering Pines Quilt Guild meetings and retreats was special to her and she leaves a legacy of handmade quilts for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gloria Reuter; and brother, Kim Reuter.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jim Miggins; sons, Cory and Brook (Brackin) Miggins; daughter, Ashley (Bill) Germain; six grandchildren, Cole Miggins, Libby Miggins, Carter Germain, Jaxon Germain, Kempton Miggins, and Kannon Miggins; brother, Chuck (Reenie) Reuter; and sister-in-law, Sharon Reuter.
A private gathering will be held at a later date.
