Katherine Key

Katherine Key passed away on August 3, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1937 in Glasgow, Scotland to Michael and Mary (Higgins) Martin, natives of Co. Cavan, Ireland. 

She was married to William Key on July 15, 1960 and the emigrated to New York in 1961. Katherine was one of 13 children; the beloved sister of Bridie (Victor) Norton, Julia (Tom) McEnroe, Patrick (Christine), Margaret (Matthew) McCrimmond, Margaret, Michael, Clara, John (Maureen), James (helen), Nancy (Desmond) Mulligan, Joseph (Janice) and Francis (Bridie).

She is survived by her loving children Elizabeth (William) Ryan and Kevin (Emily) Key and 6 adoring grandchildren; Liam, Ian & Evan Ryan and Amber, Dylan & Carly Key

Visiting hours will take place Friday, August 8th from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Hodder Farenga Funeral Home 899 McLean Ave., Yonkers, NY 10704. 

Committal service will take place Saturday August 9th at 11:00 AM at the Woolworth Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery
