Judith Johnson

JOHNSON, Judith – of Burton, formerly of Osprey, Florida, age 84, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place, and a private memorial service will be held.

Judith was born in Flint, Michigan on August 20, 1941, daughter of the late Ken and Alice (Powers) Ely. Judith was involved in the Osprey community for several years where she enjoyed teaching computer classes to the elderly. She also enjoyed crocheting and reading harlequin romance books. The highlight of her life was when her grandchildren were born.

Judith is survived by her children: Dave (Laurel) Hawes, Dan (Vicki) Hawes, Doug (the late Claudia) Hawes, Duane (Julie) Hawes, Anne (Hoss) Peters, Diane (Jon) Woodruff; grandchildren: Doug Hawes, Jr., Stephanie (Steve) Haller, Phillip Hawes, Barbara Hawes, Larry Peters, Jr., Theresa (Alan) Mackie, Elizabeth Peters, Emily (Tony) Gjocaj, Jacob Hawes, Nicole Hawes, and Charlotte Woodruff; four great grandchildren; brother, George (Carol) Wilson; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers, Glenn Wilson and Rick Wilson.
