Lake George – John (Jack) Webb, 94, of Lake George, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, October 17, 2025.
Born April 19, 1931, in Fernwood, NY, he was the son of the late Herbert and Margarita (Bradshaw) Webb.
John was a graduate of Pulaski Free Academy with the class of 1949. He went on to serve in the U.S. Navy on the USS Bennington during the Korean Conflict.
John was the owner and vice president of Saratoga Masonry Supply.
John loved being outdoors whether it was doing lawn work, riding ATVs, spending time at camp in the woods, or hunting. He loved sharing his passions and playing with his grandchildren. John was a faithful attendant, deacon, and Sunday School teacher at his church. John loved adventures and traveling to new places and was a snowbird in Florida for 35 years.
John is predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Margarita (Bradshaw) Webb; and his two brothers, Herbert and William Webb.
John is survived by his wife, Betty L. Webb of Lake George; his son, Timothy J. (Pat) Webb of Gansevoort, NY; his daughters, Sharon K. (Steve) Smith of Lititz, PA and Barbara L. (Kevin) Jacobie of Gansevoort, NY; his grandchildren, Casey (Ron) Castillo of Orange, CT, Kristina (John) Carsons of Glenville, NY, Rebecca L. (David) Foxwell of Lebanon, PA, Katie Jacobie or Mechanicville, NY, Andrew (Janae) Williams of Leola, PA, and Adam Jacobie of Corinth, NY; his great-grandchildren, Mila and Kai Castillo, Karson Jacobie, Samuel and Caleb Foxwell, Rhys Williams, Ellie and Ryan Carsons; and his brother Richard (Sandy) Webb of Florida.
Funeral services will be held 11 am on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Pine Knolls Alliance Church, 614 Gansevoort Road, South Glens Falls.
Family and friends may call from 10 am until the time of services at the church on Thursday.
Burial will follow the service in Pine View Cemetery, Queensbury.
Those who wish may send a remembrance in John’s name to The Open Door Mission 226 Warren St. Glens Falls or Adirondack Vets House Inc. 26 Pine St. Glens Falls.
John’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the Glens Falls Hospital Doctors and Nurses in Tower 2 and 3, Queensbury EMS, and granddaughter Casey Castillo.
