John Coleman, Jr.

John J. Coleman, Jr., previous resident of New Rochelle, passed away on May 18, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

John was born on April 2, 1960 to John and the late Barbara Coleman.

He is survived by his life partner Deborah Zumbo, his two sons John IlI(Brittney) and Christopher

as well as his two beautiful grandsons Carter and Cole, who adored him and who referred to him

as “Poppy” a title he wore proudly! He is also survived by his father John Coleman Sr., his sisters

Kathleen Kelly(James), Barbara Buono(Joseph), Monica Frenza (Kenneth), Jennifer and brother

William as well as many nieces and nephews.

Johnny was a sales associate for 46 years with Norman Librett Incorporated. Over his career he

made lasting business and personal relationships with his clients. He will be remembered for his

devotion to his family and his childhood friends. Johnny had charismatic personality and was
