Joan Gray

Joan Gray, 88 of Luthersburg, Pa, passed away on Aug 12, 2025 at Ridgeview Elder Care, Curwensville, Pa. Joans daughter Diana was by her Moms side from first diagnosis of cancer four years ago, to holding her moms hand when she passed.

Born 88 years earlier in Bloomington, PA on August 12, 1937, She was the daughter of the late Albert & Marion (Sneddon) Carlson

Joan worked at Rockwell after graduating from Sandy Township High School

She was married to the late William M. Gray, he proceeded her in death in July 2016

As sick as Joan was, She always had a smile for everyone, with the use of her cane Joan insisted that she make peanut brittle, pumpkin bars or even potato salad for the medical staff, family and friends.

Joan and William raised a large family, four children: William E. Gray of Charlotte, NC, Diana Puit Selfridge (Greg) of Olanta, Pa,

Susan Gray, DuBois, Pa and Brad Gray, Luthersburg. They also raised two granddaughters: Bobbi Sue Williams and Amber Gray

And had three more Grandchildren: Andy Puit, Sydney Gray and Brittaney Gray, two great- grandsons: Blair and Leo Put and one niece and several nephews.

Joan was proceeded by her parents, Husband, a sister Jean Nelson, brother Bob Carlson and beloved son-in-law Bobby Puit.

As per Joan’s wishes there will be no services.

Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium are entrusted with the arrangements.
