Jesus Garcia

On October 13, 2025 we lost a pillar of our family Jesus F. Garcia Sr. (Chuy)

He was surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.

Jesus was born on September 20, 1946, in San Miguel, NM to Jose Maria Garcia and Erlinda Pena Garcia.

He is survived by his wife Josie Garcia, his sons and Daughter-in-Laws, Jesus F. Garcia & Michelle Urena, Vincent & Stella Garcia, Michael & Monique Garcia, Albert & Bertha Garcia. 34 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Brother Fred Garcia and Sister Priscilla Garcia Trujillo.

Jesus met his beautiful wife Josie in Morenci, AZ in 1963. Story be told he would make it a point to travel 30 miles to go see his sweetheart by car or foot. 

He enlisted into the United States Army in 1965 stationed in Korea, He married his sweetheart Josie on May 28, 1966 they started a family and had 5 boys.

Jesus worked for the copper mine in Morenci, AZ he moved his family to Phoenix, AZ where he worked for a Floral Delivery Driver then at AG Warehouse. His final employment was Veolia Valley Metro he worked for there for 12 years before he retired.

Jesus loved being silly he had a big heart he welcomed anyone into his life and home with open arms. He loved the 3 stooges he was our biggest stooge, his boys have some big shoes to fill.

Jesus or Chuy as we know him Loved his family dearly, he always helped whenever you needed him, he prayed with you and over you when things got tough. He also loved his Grand puppy Daisy.
