Jerry Forehand

Jerry Lee Forehand, a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away

peacefully on October 22, 2025, in Chesapeake, Virginia. He lived his whole life in

Virginia close to his family and cherished every moment by their sides.

Jerry dedicated nearly four decades of his life to his profession as a Certified Public

accountant at Virginia Investors, sharing both his expertise and generosity. Outside of

his career, Jerry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed gardening, raising

trees from seedlings that found homes across several states, and filling his yard with

colorful blooms. He also cherished his travels, attending concerts where he could listen

to the music he loved. Notably, Jerry was committed to riding his Peloton bike for over

1,400 consecutive days, and a total of 2,787 rides, a testament to his discipline and

perseverance.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mildred Forehand and Calvin T.

Forehand. He leaves behind a loving family who will dearly miss him: his devoted wife,

Judi Forehand; his cherished daughter, Melanie Forehand (and partner Terrell); and

his caring brothers, Garey Forehand (and wife Monica) and Terry Forehand (and wife

Angie).

A memorial service will be held to honor Jerry’s life on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at

1:00 PM at Oman Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to celebrate a life

marked by love, service, and dedication.
