HELEN ROSELLA MILLER

Helen Rosella Miller, 85, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at her Florahome residence following a brief illness.

Born in Trenton, Missouri on February 6, 1940, Helen had been a resident of Florahome for the past 46 years. After 20 years in the food service department, Helen retired from the Putnam County School System where she worked in many of the local school cafeterias including Kelley Smith, Melrose and Interlachen High School. She enjoyed volunteering at the schools, helping the handicapped Girl Scouts and the Special Olympics program. She had a gift for raising and caring for special needs children.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Rance Miller; a son, Robin Miller; and a daughter, Rebecca Garvery.

Left to cherish her memory are her five sons, Randy Miller, Ricky Miller, Ronnie Miller, Raymond Miller and Rance Miller; four daughters, Ruth Miller, Carolyn McGarvey, Vickie Miller and Diana Miller; 20 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2025 at Masters Funeral Home in Interlachen. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Masters Funeral Home in Interlachen with Maurice Sterling officiating.

Following her funeral service, Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
