Gregg L. Luchsinger, age 63, passed away at UW- Madison Hospital on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Gregg was born on November 2, 1961, in Edgerton, WI, the son of Daryl and Marian (Armstrong) Luchsinger. Gregg graduated from Edgerton High School in 1980.
Gregg had two wonderful children, Rachael and Matthew Luchsinger, with Vicki Luchsinger. Gregg worked for J.P Cullen as a heavy equipment operator, specialized in crane operation, for 25 years until retiring in 2023. He farmed most of his life alongside his father Daryl, raising tobacco and cattle. Gregg was a member of the Local 139 Union and attended the Fulton Church. He will be especially remembered for his hard work and love for his children. Gregg had a huge heart and loved to pull pranks on people, loved his Fords, Oliver tractors, rock music, and gardening.
Gregg is survived by his children Rachael and Matthew Luchsinger of Edgerton, WI; brothers: Doug of Edgerton, WI, Randall of Colorado Springs, CO; Sister Diane (John) Waugh of Rockford, IL; Uncle Donovan (Leta) Luchsinger of Brooklyn, WI; aunt Sue (Larry) Leef of WI; nephews Brendan (Chantelle) Waugh, Connor Waugh, Ryan Luchsinger, and special aunt Julie Luchsinger, of AZ, and many cousins and friends. Gregg was preceded in death by his parents: Daryl and Marian Luchsinger, nephew Sean Waugh, infant brother Dennis, and Uncle Alvin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Fulton Church. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Albrecht Funeral Home, Edgerton and on Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the time of service at church.
