Georgeanna Criss

Georgeanna Criss, 64, of Colorado Springs, Co passed away on August 22, 2025.

Georgeanna was born on January 29, 1961 in Yonkers, NY to George and Emma. She was raised in and lived in Yonkers for 47 years before moving to Colorado Springs. She loved attending church, bowling, crocheting, working puzzles, working, and shopping.

Georgeanna was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Cooper; father George Oliver Higgins; brothers, Huey Cooper, Butch Cooper, Calvin Cooper; and sister, Rachel Blackwell.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Rodney Criss Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, and Denell Jermaine Criss of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Shana Marie Criss of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Jerry Thompson of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters, Phyllis Criss of Virginia Beach, VA and Shirley Thompson of Winston-Salem, NC; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She will be missed!
