GEORGE HALL
George Hall, 69, of Hollister, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville following a brief illness.
George was born in Palatka and had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County, living in Palatka and later in Hollister. He had worked as a bleach plant operator for Georgia Pacific, retiring in 2019 after 45 years. In his leisure time he enjoyed being in the great outdoors and fishing. George was a dedicated Christian man and had attended the Pentecostal Revival Center in Palatka.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Judy Hall; a son, Jesse Hall (Ashley); two daughters, Sherry Everett (Michael) and Lisa Hendrix (Tommy); a brother, James Hall; three sisters, Vicky Gilkey, Debbie Hall, and Denise Hall; seven grandchildren, Clayton, Trevor, Destiny, Connor, Jasmine, Mia, and Adan; and two great grandchildren, Carter and Cayden.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the Pentecostal Revival Center in Palatka with Bro. John Wilkinson officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. — an hour prior to the start of the service. Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens.
