Frank Taormina

With a heavy heart, we announce the peaceful passing of Frank John Taormina at age 85. Frank was born and raised in San Jose, and is the son to the late James J. Taormina and Ann R. (Cancilla) Taormina.

Frank is survived by his son Mark (Marisa) Taormina, daughter Kathleen (Ben) Smith, grandchildren John (Alex), Luke, Tyler, Brooke, Gia, Austin, Brandon, Joshua, Quinn, Mallory, Drew and Cameron. Frank is predeceased by his wife of 63 years Arlene (Vignato) Taormina and his son James Taormina.

Frank, served as a US Marine, prior to spending majority of his work career at San Jose Tallow and then moving on to San Jose Boiler, retiring after 19 years in 2003. Frank was an active member of the Sons of Sicily where he helped prepare monthly meals and the Society of Italian Americans.

Frank touched the lives of many family members and friends and will truly be missed by all. Family and friends are invited to attend a Chapel Blessing Service Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S. Second Street, San Jose. Entombment to follow with Marine Military Honors at Los Gatos Memorial Park.
