Fay Doppel

Fay Marie Doppel, 57, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at her home.

Born September 29, 1967, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Warren Marcus Hendershot and Dorothy Louise Hendershot.

Fay was a 1985 graduate of Clear Spring High School and a member of Maugansville Bible Brethren Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and played the piano.  

She was a homemaker while raising her children and also a secretary at Roto Rooter since 2020.

Fay is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Carl Doppel; her daughter, Bethany Doppel; her son, Austin Doppel, all of Hagerstown; a brother, Randy Hendershot, and wife, Barb, of Clear Spring; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Broadfording Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 13523 Broadfording Church Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740 with Pastor Chad Carter officiating.
