Elizabeth Hawkins

LOUDONVILLE: Elizabeth Ann Hawkins passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at UH Samaritan Medical Center, surrounded by her family, at the age of 68.

She was born on December 9, 1956, to parents Michael and Hedwig (Drongowski) Wilchenski in Ravenna, Ohio. Liz married David Lynn Hawkins on July 2, 1999, and they shared 26 wonderful years together. In 2008, Liz, David, and their daughter moved to the area to be closer to family and her job. She worked for Scotts Miracle-Gro (formerly United Industries) in Orrville as a POD clerk until 2009.

Liz’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren- Cheyenne, Hadley, Remi, Adam, Nico, and Noah, who were her world. She cherished every moment of being their grandma. A few of Liz’s other favorite pastimes included spending time with her husband and daughter, decorating her home, chatting with her best friend Shirley, watching Christmas movies on Hallmark, and keeping an eye on the weather.

She is survived by her husband, David Hawkins; her children, Jessica (Michael) Robinson, David (Samantha) Hawkins, and Shelly (Matt) Bailes; her 19 grandchildren; and her siblings, Gary, Kris, Tom, and Debbie. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Doug (Jamille) Hawkins, and her niece, Mahlin (Gaige) Hawkins of Loudonville.

Liz had many other family members and friends both close and extended whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jon.

There will be no services held at this time.
