E. Moore

E. Noreen Moore, age 94, of Pendleton, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at her residence. She was born October 24, 1930 in Sligo, Kentucky, the daughter of Jesse and Lottie (Whitley) Burrows.

Mrs. Moore was a graduate of the former Sulphur High School, Class of 1949, and a retired bookkeeper, having worked for four companies including Blake-Moore Construction, Inc. in LaGrange, Kentucky.

Mrs. Moore had been an active member of Sligo Baptist Church since 1954, and a Christian for eighty-three years. She enjoyed reading her Bible and romance novels, mowing her lawn with her John Deere mower, and driving her car. She was quick-witted, fiercely independent, and a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Her surviving family includes two sons and daughters-in-law: Terry and Kimberly Moore of Pendleton, Phillip and Teresa Moore of LaGrange; five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John T. Moore on February 7, 1993; two brothers: Leon and Paul Burrows; and three sisters: Mildred Cole, Betty Moore, and Charlotte Louden.
