Doyle Williams, age 88 of Dana went to be with the Lord on October 26, 2025. Doyle was the son of the late John & Nancy Williams.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elena Williams of 66 years and his son Darrel Williams. He also was preceded by his 3 sisters Dee Costner, Delma wood and Dot Ruff, as well as 1 brother Dewey Williams. Doyle is survived by his daughter Darla Kay Williams and his son Doyle Keith Williams, 1 brother Frank Williams (Debbie), 2 grandchildren Lauren Kilpatrick and Hillary Brown, 2 great-grandchildren Rhylie and Ryder Kilpatrick, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends who he loved very much.

Doyle was self-taught in almost everything he did. He owned and worked at Williams Mobile Home Repair Service for over 30 years. He was also a pole lineman for Duke Power. Doyle was the first Fire Chief for Dana Fire and Rescue Department. He was the Chief for 10 years. He was also a charter member and board member. Doyle was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church where he loved to attend every Sunday.

He loved all sports, especially golf and women’s softball. He was a great golfer and loved to play at Crooked Creek and Santee with all his special friends. He coached and sponsored his women’s travel softball team for over 15 years, which was very successful winning tournaments under his guidance. He also umpired adult softball for many years with Parks & Recreation. So, if you knew Doyle Williams (Daddy Doyle) (Sweet Pea) (Sweet Swinging), you loved him.

A funeral service will be held at Locust Grove Baptist Church on Friday October 31, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. A time of visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Locust Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow service in the church cemetery at 1741 Locust Grove Road, Hendersonville, NC 28972. Preacher Clarence Blackwell will be officiating.
