Doris C. Acciari, nee Pagnucci, of Chicago and Skokie passed away on May 28, 2025. Devoted wife of the late Lido. Beloved mother of Jerry (Lilliana) and Kenneth (Samantha). Loving sister of the late Norma (Lino) Acciari. Cherished aunt of Lena (Bill) Matschke and Gene (Rosemary) Acciari. Treasured grandmother of Angela (Jim) Jensen and Donna (Chris) Bachman. Proud great grandmother of L.J., Everett, and Francesca. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

As seniors, the two couples relocated to Skokie, Illinois. There, Doris continued to make fond friends and became an avid Mahjong player. Additionally, she loved playing cards, the piano, bowling, fishing, reading and dancing. Doris was also a patron of the fine arts with a special affinity for opera. Her true passion in life was travel. Doris traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe and Africa. Doris leaves behind not just a family who loved her, but a legacy of memories that will continue to comfort and counsel all whom she loved.
