Donna Rosenbaum

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Donna Sue Rash Rosenbaum on Monday, August 4, 2025. Donna was 63 years old and lived in Kingsport, Tennessee. Though she had faced health challenges over the past year, her passing came as a shock to those who loved her most. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ivaden Rash; and her grandmother, Viola Rash.

Donna was a one-of-a-kind spirit – funny, generous, and full of life. She had a deep love for thrifting, old movies, and collecting dolls. A go-with-the-flow kind of person, Donna had a way of making people feel welcome and at ease. She especially loved spending time with her sister Lisa, with whom she shared a close bond. Together, they attended Renewed Church and made countless special memories.

Donna was proud of her Native American heritage and embraced her background fully. She was generous to those she cared about, always willing to give from the heart, and cherished simple joys like having friends over and being surrounded by love and laughter.

Donna is survived by her four children, Nathaniel Belcher and his wife, Bonnie, Leanna Jacobs and her husband, Michael, Ashley Belcher Otero Cordero and her husband, Gioscany, and Crystal Belcher and her boyfriend, Emmanuel Hernandez; her father, Lewis Robbins; a sister, Lisa Vermillion and her husband, Shawn; a niece, Kayla Keene and her husband, Anthony, and their daughter, Emma; and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Friday, August 8, 2025 at Garrett Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM Friday in the Riverview Chapel at Garrett Funeral Home with Pastor Winston Johnson officiating. The committal service and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus, VA. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
