Donald C. Loper, Sr.
WEST ALLIS – Age 93, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025. Donald was married to Kathy for 67 years and together they raised five children. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, his sons Donald “Donnie” Loper, Jr. and Dennis Loper, his father Edward Loper (Dorothy), his mother Mildred Schneider (Marvin) and brother Floyd Loper (Nancy).
He is loving father to Jean Wied, Susan Leachy (Patrick) and Cindy Berg; caring grandfather to Melissa Wied, Michelle Jibben (Chris), Matthew Wied (Jesse), Becky Cleaver (Tim), Alita Weinmann (Andrew), Patrick Loper (Jennifer), Holly Berg (Justin), Ricky Leachy (Shannon), Michael Loper (Megan), and Brad Leachy (Crishell). Loving great-grandfather to Hailey (Tyler), Hunter, Payten, Kylie, Conrad, Tommy, Abby, Penelope, Miranda, Scarlett, Lizzy, Oliver, Penelope, Benjamin, Madison, Zoe, Lincoln, Archie and Talon. Dear brother to Ed (Margaret) Loper, Shirley Eismann (Ed) and James Loper (Elaine) and many other family and friends.
Donald worked at Ajax Metal Products as a sheet metal worker before retiring. He and his family spent much time together at their cottage on Kelly Lake. He loved to play cards and travel on motor home adventures with wife Kathy and dear brother Ed (Maggie) Loper.
Visitation will be held from 2 PM until the time of service at 4 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice appreciated.
