Donald Hardt

Donald Hardt passed away on September 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 78 years old.

Beloved husband of Barbara for over 52 years; Adored dad of Kimberly McGough (Patrick) and Kevin (Meredith); Cherished grandpa of Caroline, Charlotte and Cecilia Hardt and Riley and Colin McGough; Loving brother-in-law of Diane Hoss (the late Carter); Fond uncle of Dorinne Hoss and Susan Hoss and friend to many.

A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 4-8PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. A memorial visitation will also be held Wednesday, October 1, from 10AM until time of service 11AM, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1111 N. Elmhurst Rd., Prospect Heights. Interment private.
