DIANE ZIELINSKI

DIANE ZIELINSKI, a lifelong Yonkers NY resident, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at age 73.

Diane was born on September 9, 1951, to late Charles and Rose Laconte. She was educated locally and graduated from Commerce High School in Cosmetology/Hair Styling. For many years for, she was employed at Blue Cross/Blue Shield as a claims processor in New York City. She was a World Trade Center Survivor—9/11/2001.

Diane is survived by her husband, Andrew Zielinski, her niece, Theresa Ricciardi Sceppaqercia, nephews, Charles and Nicholas Ricciardi and godson, Tommy Szwejtys. She was predeceased by her brother, Danny Laconte, and sister, Mary Laconte Ricciardi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 3PM to 7PM in DUCHYNSKI-CHERKO Funeral Home.

 A Funeral Service for Diane will take place at the funeral home, on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11AM, followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
