Diane Gedeiko
- May 16, 2025

An indomitable spirit left us on May 8, 2025.
Diane Denton (Gedeiko) was an independent, intelligent soul who led an extraordinary life filled with accomplishments and a heartfelt compassion for others. Her early experiences included being the first female 911 despatcher in Tucson, AZ, and a celebrated investigative reporter in Palm Springs, CA.
Later, as a successful educational sales representative, she moved back to her beloved Arizona. This was during a time when you were more likely to encounter wildlife than homes in many areas and she reveled in sharing stories of that period. Diane focused on sharing her love and deep knowledge of Arizona during her final career as a luxury real estate agent for over 20 years. She enjoyed a well-deserved reputation for unparalleled customer service and impressive results.
Despite extensive time commitments to her clients, many of whom became her friends, she was always thinking of ways to help others. Diane offered to mentor new agents, provided her expertise to friends who requested her help in all manner of tasks, and donated goods and services to charity. She never drove by a person in need without giving them water or a few dollars and encouraged others to do the same.
Diane leaves a legacy of excellence, integrity and kindness in every aspect of her life. Even with recent health obstacles, she remained optimistic, grateful and generous.
She will be missed by a legion of people whose lives she touched over the last many decades.
As she requested, no services will be held. If you wish to honor her life, please donate to Trevor’s Vision or any charity that supports people who are less fortunate or animals in need.
