Delia Maria Salinas, 63, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025. Born on October 10, 1961, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, she was the beloved daughter of the late Luis and Antonia Salinas.
A devoted and loving mother, sister, aunt, and daughter, Delia’s life was a reflection of her faith, kindness, and dedication to her family. She found joy in cooking and making desserts, turning every meal into an expression of love. She had a gift for decorating, bringing beauty into her home. Her strong religious beliefs guided her life, and she shared her faith generously with those around her.
Delia is survived by her cherished son, Alexander Pantoja, and her treasured grandchildren, Mia, Joe-Noel, and Nathaniel, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her loving brothers, Arcenio (Susan) Salinas and Arturo (Diane) Salinas, and her beloved sister, Victoria (Anthony Episcopo) Silva. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Miguel E. Salinas.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever remember her warmth, generosity, and faith.
