David Stetz

David Charles Stetz passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on October 29, 2025, after a courageous battle with liver cancer.

David was married most recently to his late wife, Ramona Stetz, with whom he shared many happy years. He was previously married to Charlette (Collier) Snyder, and together they raised two daughters: Cheryl A. Gomez (Donald) and Deborah L. Stetz-Stanley (Robert). Through his marriage to Ramona, David lovingly embraced her children as his own: Manuel R. Andersen and Julia A. Bonfiglio (Sebastian).

In recent years, David found joy, companionship and love with his dear partner, Charlene Joyce. Their love was evident by the twinkle in his eyes and smile when he looked at her. David was a proud grandfather to Marissa Siudzinski (Joe), Tayler Andersen, Nicole Bonfiglio, and Sebastiano Bonfiglio, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Born in San Francisco, David attended Lick-Wilmerding High School and later completed trade school to become a HVAC/R technician. He was a dedicated member of the UA Local 38 Plumbers Steamfitters & HVAC/R for nearly 60 years, which he was proud of. David enjoyed being a member of the Good Guys Car Club, where he showcased his beloved 1937 Dodge. He enjoyed traveling cross-country, exploring new places, and never missed his granddaughters’ softball and soccer games—always cheering from the sidelines.

David will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, love for family, and adventurous spirit. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
