Daniel Tus
Daniel Tus beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away suddenly on June 13, 2025 in La Paz, Bolivia leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and quiet strength. He was married to his devoted wife, Josefina Tus (nee Aramayo) for 55 wonderful years – a true partnership built on faith, commitment, and deep affection.
Daniel was a dedicated and hardworking man who always put his family first. He was the proud father of Edwin Mirko Tus and Daniel Vladimir Tus, and the cherished grandfather of Joseph Tus, Stephanie Tus and Maria Tus. His love for his family was unconditional, and his presence brought warmth and guidance to all who knew him.
He had a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys. Whether tending to his garden, caring for animals, or spending time with loved ones, Daniel found purpose in everyday moments. His gentle spirit and kind heart made him beloved not only by his family but by many in his community.
Daniel is survived by his siblings: Jose Tus, Marilu Tus Lora, Antonia Tus Al-Hinnawi and Ana Thuss, along with many dear nieces and nephews and friends who will always carry his memory in their hearts.
A memorial service to celebrate Daniel’s life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago, Illinois, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
