Daniel Fiebelkorn
Daniel P. “Dan” Fiebelkorn, 49, of Hollister passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025 at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Miami, Dan was a 1995 graduate of Western High School in Davie, Florida. He had been a resident of Putnam County for two years, coming from Port St. Lucie where he’d lived for 18 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and had worked as a substitute teacher for the Alachua County School System.
Dan attended the St. John Lutheran Church in Palatka and was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 990 in Gainesville, where he served as Exalted Ruler. In his leisure time, he enjoyed following sports—especially baseball and football.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Rochelle Fiebelkorn; a sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Travis Michaud; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Ron Paige officiating. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Sunday—an hour before the start of the service. Interment will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens.
