Cordia Vilyus

Cordia C. Vilyus passed away at Hospice of the Western Reserve on September 25, 2025. She was married to her husband Tim for almost 47 years. It should have been longer. Cordia was the mother of the late Michael. She is survived by her son Benjamin (Abby), and very proud grandmother of Daisy, who was the light of her life during her last years. She resided in Bay Village for 24 years.

Cordia was born to the late Walter Thomas Callahan and late Irene May Callahan. She was the sister of the late Carolyn (Harry) Thompson, the late Alma (Robert) Estes, Pat (Ray) Becker, and brother of the late Thomas (Janet) Callahan.

Cordia was a Registered Nurse. She had a calling to help others whether it was in surgical nursing or helping those who called for medical assistance at the Metro Health System. Cordia felt we should extend ourselves to help those who get the least help. Private services have been held.
