Clarence Henderson

Clarence Earl Henderson, age 69, of Marietta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Monday, September 1, 2025, in Atlanta, Texas. Clarence was born December 27, 1955, in Cass County, Texas, to Shine Fields and Ione Henderson. He was retired from Red River Army Depot; served in the United States Army and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Clarence enjoyed watching old westerns on T.V.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; four brothers and three sisters.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Judith Henderson of Marietta; children, Jeanine Ortiz and fiancé Frederick Law of Atlanta, Florian Ortiz of Lewisville, North Carolina, Michael Ortiz of Virginia, Daniel Ortiz and wife Chastity of Wytheville, Virginia, Cordero Henderson of Wytheville, Virginia; brother, Jimmy Henderson of Atlanta, Texas; sisters, Lizzie Luckey of Marietta, Etherine Henderson of Atlanta, Bertina Henderson of Marietta, Barbara Henderson of Atlanta, Brenda Henderson of Queen City; thirteen grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and a host of friends.

Viewing will be Friday, September 12, 2025 from 3 pm to 5 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Floyd Valley Baptist Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Floyd Valley Cemetery, Marietta, Texas.
