Christine Rack
Christine Rack passed away at the age of 63 at her Littleton home on June 23, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Don, 30-year-old son Dylan, 27-year-old daughter Lindsay, and 7-month-old granddaughter Sienna.
Born on August 8, 1961, in San Diego, CA she was the youngest of four sisters and is survived by Aileen, Gail, and Lisa.
Christine and Don were married on June 14, 1980, and recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Shortly after Christine graduated from Grossmont College with a degree in Cardiac Ultrasound in 1992, she and Don moved to Colorado’s Denver metro area where she initially worked in Swedish Medical Center’s Cardiac Testing Group. In 1998, Christine transitioned to Kaiser Permanente’s Cardiology Department from which she retired in 2022 as the Cardiac Testing Lead. She loved to provide excellent and thoughtful care to all her patients and worked diligently to improve the Department.
Beyond her career, Christine found her greatest joy in the time spent with her family, close friends, and animals. A lifelong animal lover, she volunteered for several years at Lakewood’s Life is Better Rescue, where she gave her time and heart to helping animals find safe, loving homes.
Christine was a kind, gentle soul who radiated warmth and kindness. Her laughter, compassion, and unwavering love touched every life she encountered. She will be remembered not only for her accomplishments, but for the deep love she gave so freely and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
Events
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held from noon until 2:00pm at the Chatfield Botanic Gardens’ Green Farm Barn on August 8, 2025. The Gardens’ address is 8500 W Deer Creek Canyon Rd, Littleton, CO 80128. When guests arrive, please park in the main paved lot in front of the Welcome Center, then let the ticket counter know they are there for the Chrisine’s Celebration of Life. The Welcome Center will provide directions to the Green Farm Barn. Golf cart rides will be available for anyone requiring accessibility assistance. Please RSVP to coracks@comcast.net by July 23rd if you plan on attending the ceremony.
