Celsa Rodriguez

Celsa (Elsie) A. Rodriguez, 94, of Hampton Virginia, formerly of Jersey City, passed away on October 31, 2023 at Commonwealth Senior Living at Hampton. 

She was born on January 18, 1929, to parents Altagracia and Isaac Agosto in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. She married Luis R. Rodriguez on June 26, 1946 and they had 5 children, Juan, Edith, Miriam, Louis and Minerva. She worked as a seamstress in Hoboken, NJ before dedicating herself full time to her family. 

Celsa is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Luis and son Juan.

Visitation will be at McLaughlin Funeral Home, 625 Pavonia Ave., Jersey City on Monday, November 6th from 11AM – 1PM. Entombment to follow at Holy Name Mausoleum, Jersey City.
